The Bronstein Clinic at Forefront Therapy

Caring for our aging population means doing all we can to help seniors preserve their independence and maintain the mobility that helps them lead a healthy and active lifestyle.

To help fulfill that mission, the Bronstein Foundation partnered with Forefront Community Therapy, to help support the mission at Forefront Therapy and open The Bronstein Clinic, a 4,000 square foot clinic equipped with all the latest equipment, here to help achieve accessibility for all.

The Bronstein Clinic allows the multidisciplinary team at Forefront to provide the highest level of one-on-one physical and occupational therapy to all individuals, regardless of their insurance coverage or ability to pay. According to Dr. Ryan Wood, president of Forefront Therapy, "This partnership allows us to practice the highest level of care, through a truly holistic approach that cares for the entire person's well-being, respecting and addressing their physical, mental, and emotional needs." This holistic approach is the fundamental core at Forefront to consider the more difficult-to-recognize factors that may lead to problems with mobility, including depression, lack of support, or other psychosomatic conditions that may hinder progress.

According to Dr. Wood, many aging adults often experience the fear of activities that may lead to pain or falls. Just thinking about these activities, like going shopping or visiting family, can trigger an inflammatory response that results in real physical symptoms. By engaging in truly holistic, one-on-one care, the team at Forefront Therapy is able to recognize and address some of the deeper issues facing patients to help them achieve more complete and lasting recovery.

The partnership with the Bronstein Foundation has helped spark many more relationships to help Forefront Therapy fulfill its mission. Forefront Therapy is engaging in new partnerships with the Arthritis Foundation and Wellborn Baptist Foundation to create a 6-part multidisciplinary education series to help patients proactively improve quality of life and thrive despite the diagnosis of arthritis. According to Dr. Wood, "It's incredible to think about all we have been above to achieve through this partnership, the growth we've experienced and the ways this collaboration have helped us build even more connections and expand what we are able to achieve for patients in our community."
